Border Security Arrests Bulk Cash Smuggling..


U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested two men on Tuesday afternoon for smuggling more than $3 million dollars that was being transported in separate vehicles traveling in North County.
At the scene of the vehicle stop.
This amount of money represents the largest currency seizure ever in San Diego Sector,” said Chief Patrol Agent Richard A. Barlow.  “The hard work and perseverance demonstrated by the involved agents was essential for this outcome.”
a Border Patrol K-9 alerted agents to conduct a search of the vehicle, resulting in the discovery of eight vacuum-sealed bundles containing $33,880 that was stashed in the center console.  A 53-year-old male U.S. citizen was arrested upon the discovery.
Soon after, the agents found the vehicle’s driver, a 41-year-old male Mexican national, hiding in some brush nearby and arrested him for suspicion of currency smuggling.  Agents searched the vehicle and seized $3,018,000 that was found inside eight boxes located in the trunk.

CBP is charged with keeping terrorists and terrorist weapons out of the country while enforcing hundreds of U.S. laws.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Generate business and increase revenues in the US Region through sales of Weatherford Automation products and services. Based in Bakersfield, CA.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support and assist in the improvements to productions processes, methods and controls.
Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
Develop standard costs and analysis on multiple products under consideration.
Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new or revised products including establishing goals and other considerations.
Assists with design, development, testing sourcing and/or cost justification of various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement and improved efficiency.
Assist with entry and maintenance of part numbers, BOM’s, mfg. routers and work orders; in various software applications, to support manufacturing production.
May represent manufacturing on cross-functional teams.
Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform other duties as required by Supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements and company policies of Weatherford.
Know and understand Weatherford’s Enterprise Excellence Process and the Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a self-starter with good organizational skills.
Must be task oriented with a good ability to focus on details.
Basic knowledge of databases and information retrieval including query languages.
Individual must be able to follow instructions.
Good verbal communications skills.
Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
Ability to develop process routings for machined components unassisted.
Knowledge of raw material and chemical composition.
High School Diploma or GED
5 years experience in a production environment.
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
Preferred:
Must have good reading, writing and math skills.
Proficient typing and data entry and spreadsheet skills.
Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes such as part programming, work process development and time and motion studies.
Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.

As a Staff Operations Officer

Staff Operations Officers apply advanced knowledge and expertise of clandestine operations, operational tradecraft, and intelligence priorities when providing strategic guidance and operational case management. In addition, Staff Operations Officers are responsible for program management throughout the DO, from traditional operational activities to specialized initiatives and Covert Action. The demanding pace of DO has Staff Operations Officers finding solutions to complex operational problems, identifying new technical tools and capabilities to advance operations, and tapping the resources of the DO, CIA, and US Government to ensure operational requirements are met. Staff Operations Officers provide objective reviews of on-going and potential operations and serve as the vital link between DO officers in the field, CIA Headquarters, and the Intelligence Community.

Many Staff Operations Officers will spend much of their career serving in the Washington, DC area having opportunities for overseas travel. Opportunities for Staff Operations Officers to serve multi-year postings overseas exist, but these positions are competitive.

All DO officers are hired at an entry level and train as they are expected to work - as one team. DO officers begin their careers spending one to two years learning the foundations of clandestine operational tradecraft via classroom training, practical exercises, and on-the-job experience gained through a series of interim assignments. Following successful completion of the foundational training, each DO officer will transition into advanced training activity to prepare them to serve effectively in their respective career occupational specialty.
